Project brief
Maroun EL Ras Solar project consists of a total of 171 solar panels, strategically installed to power two essential pumps within the system. Firstly, a centrifugal pump with a horsepower of 70 HP, capable of operating at a depth of 350 meters, has been expertly integrated with 126 solar panels. This ensures a consistent and renewable power supply, optimizing the pump’s performance while minimizing reliance on non-renewable energy sources. Additionally, a booster pump with a horsepower of 15 HP has been equipped with 45 solar panels, further promoting energy sustainability. This groundbreaking solar initiative represents a significant leap towards a greener future for the municipality, effectively harnessing the power of the sun to drive crucial pumping operations and exemplify the municipality’s commitment to sustainable practices.
